Giving thanks...
I am thankful that I have a home and a place of employment that were not washed away in a hurricane or blown away in a tornado.
I am thankful that the US military and my old unit, the mighty 101st Airborne Division, are taking the fight to the terrorists at their doorsteps and not allowing them to bring it to mine. I am thankful for the perfect woman who puts up with me being in the studio or the shop nearly all the time and still kisses me when I come in with steel dust around my face where the respirator seals up. I am thankful for having friends whom I have yet to meet who share their wisdom, technical knowledge, and common sense with complete strangers who share a common interest. Finally, I am thankful for the miracle of pumkin pie! Happy Thanksgiving! __________________ Andy Garrett https://www.facebook.com/GarrettKnives?ref=hl Charter Member - Kansas Custom Knifemaker's Association www.kansasknives.org "Drawing your knife from its sheath and using it in the presence of others should be an event complete with oos, ahhs, and questions." |

Thanks for sharing Andrew. I could go on for a long time of all the things im thankfull for but one thing to share on the forums here is how gratefull I am for the many people that I call friends here on the forums. Ive got two brothers here at home but aquired a lot more once I found this place over a year ago. I feel like ive known quite a few of them all my life even though I havent met most of them in person. So.....I am indeed greatfull for all my knifemaking and knife enthusiast brothers.
