Hehe, hello Filipe. It seems you are even newer than me at this. Once you have assembled your forge, you need something to forge. Get a thin bar of any heavy metal, iron, low carbon steel, heck bronze, copper, lead. Just something to beat. Put your anvil at roughly waist level, so that when you strike the anvil with your hammer your wrist is in alignment with your forearm. This will help keep you from hurting yourself. Next heat up your forge and stick in a piece of metal. I suggest a small one to begin with, just to get the feel of your hammer and how the metal reacts to you. A 5 by 1 inch piece of metal will stretch into a reasonably sized knife. Just look around and you will see how to make one in detail, I could write a booko on it, and you might not understand through my babbling. :
