First one in a minute

First blade I have gotten to work on in a little while between work and family summer fun. I finished up just in time for hunting season so it looks like it will hopefully get a good work out in this fall before being put to kitchen duty for the winter. Anyways thanks for looking and as always any comments, critiques,or conversation is welcome.

Good work. You were fortunate to find a piece of African Blackwood with that much figure in it. I've seen some that are a solid brown/black.

Thanks for all the comments guys really appreciate it. I was pretty fortunate to get that black wood with that much character I got it from fellow member JDale. I hope I can track down a critter and get some field use and pictures no better learning then the real deal. Thanks again for all the kind words and looking.
