Here's a little skinner I'm working on.

8 1/4 overall with Texas white oak burl and loveless bolts.

Looking good Kevin, I still have the one I got from you in the KITH. I'm going to have to hang onto it as it might be worth a fortune someday being one of the first from a famous knife maker in Texas

Lol, thanks. But I have a long way to go! I'm getting better, but I'm not where I want to be yet.

Kevster,

It's a fine knife. I have been trying to make something similar for 13 years and would be happy if I ever came up with 'a real knife' like that one.
Plano huh? I am down here south of Lancaster one mile from the Ellis county line. Plano is a long way from here. They do have a real good German restaurant up there. It has been so long I can't even remember the name of it. But they shut down the German restaurant where 'Alpinmusicanten' used to play and they play up in Plano now.
The Accordion players name is Allan Walling.
I do want to make a run to Coit road south of Arapahoe and north of Beltline to the 'Homebrew Headquarters' for some supplies but that won't be till fall. I just drive 2,000 miles a year and not the 30,000 I used to drive. I used to be a roofer and lived in my truck but am an old disabled codger now, I just stay home all the time and try and make knives. Still working on it.

Luck and later...

I'm not sure what restaurant you are talking about, there are a bunch here in Plano, is it the Bavarian grill? Also I know exactly where home brew headquarters is, I've actually made my own beer before, but it's been awhile.

Kevster,

Bavarian Grille! that's it. It has been a long time.
And I used to brew at least 100 gallons yearly of Mein Acht Pfund Hammerbier
a 6 3/4% alcohol ale, for 16 years till I figured out I can buy Shiner cheaper.
Now I am planning on brewing this winter only because I never listen to my old 33rpm records unless I am brewing in the kitchen.

Thanks...

Jack
