Ordered a MLCS 9400 Standard Duty Router Speed Control
Took another chance tonight and ordered a Speed Control from Amazon tonight. It wasn't the best one they had in my opinion, but according to the reviews it was the best. So I'll let you guys know how it works. Also ordered some silicon carbide 320 grit 4 x 36 belts along with it as I am giving this 4x36 a chance before I plunge into the 2x72. It will work well in creating a few knife scales I want to sell though if I can't get it to work for steel.

Let you know in a few days. I've read the reviews and from what I have seen the trick is to calibrate it with your machine. Gotta pop the dust cover and rotate a screw to set it to the machines true 0. Makes sense because how else will it know it's "true" 0 speed unless set manually?
