Talking Brazilian knife just arrived!!!:)

OH MAN!
This camp knife from Rodrigo Sfreddo is so amazing that I can hardly say enough good things about it. I was still smiling from the Bowie knife he made especially for me that recently arrived, when I saw this one!

A fantastic fully integral camp knife. 10" blade out of 52100 round-bar-stock, and 15.50" overall! Beautiful Stabilized Rosewood handle scales! This is the type of knife I would love to learn to make someday. Super strong, beautiful, and a challenge to create.

This knife feels like it was made to be, and stay in the hand! I know, enough exclamation points already.................Well I am just that excited. This is the first one of these that Rodrigo has made in about two years, and it really shows the precision-forging of a master! This piece is a real testament to the hand-forged blade, and to the skill and knowledge of the one Rodrigo Sfreddo. Beautiful Job Rodrigo!

I did not think it was actually possible, but smiling too much can actually make your face hurt............just kidding!

I hope you all enjoy the images.

Thanks so much Rodrigo and Jeff!

P.S. Yes Jeff, a real keeper for sure, and there is no question that this is one
"hard-working piece of steel"

Sincerely, Don Carlos

Hey Don.. thanks again for your nice words.

That handle was extensively tested and researched in years of experimental design. It is really confortable and provides great control for heavy chopping.

The best thing about this knife, I guess, is that you and your wife don?t have to share time on the bowie anymore... you can pick one each !

Cheers!

That is one beautiful big knife! I bet the handle feels even better than it looks. Rodrigo should take a bow. Thanks for sharing the pics and enjoy the knife!
