and another folder... The folder from hell..
Finished up this slipjoint last weekend and finally got a "decent" picture of it.. This knife has fought me the entire way.. I am just glad it is done.. I have done nothing but chase problems.. Needless to say this one will be staying in my pocket. Its a little scuffed up as it has been in my pocket for a week now.. Anyways.. lemme know what you think of it.. (Good or bad).
0-1 tool steel 1/8" thick hollow ground blade Full quench - 600 grit machine finish 4" handle - 3.125" blade Nickel-Silver bolsters, liners, and pins Boxelder burl - stabilized

Look really good Jerid. What is the blade steel and bolsters? Wood type? Always interesting to know. After the Texas Knifemakers and Collectors show in August, I'll be off to Bill Ruples to get some expert help on building slipjoints. Looking very forward to that. Your grinds have come a long way, really nice.

Glad to see you fought the good fight, cetainly worth it
 I have a couple of pocket knives with nickel silver bolsters, and while I like the knives, I think there are better choices than nickel steel. Tends to scratch too easily and also seems to tarnish quickly.That seems to be the case on yours also, what's your opinion? Yea.. the n/s is not too scratch resistant.. overall I like it.. This is actually the first time I have used n/s so I dont really have any history with it.. seems to hold up about the same as brass. I have not experienced any tarnishing yet..
