Deer leg knife w/mustard etch...
Hi fellas, thought I'd post a knife I just finished. Forged from an old plow point and found deer foreleg bone. Has a rawhide wrap and sinew ferrule. Blade is differentially heat treated in a bacon grease and Crisco goop, and then given a mustard etch. The dangle has old beads, copper cone and horsehair.
Now, to get my better half to make a rawhide sheath ... Bud OA: 7" Blade: 3 3/8" Thanks for lookin'... |
