fixe blade with case

Hello this is my last kinfe, a fixe blade in 1075 4mm, with his case.
The handle is oak.
It's fully make at file.

Now that one really speaks to me. Love the oak! I have one in the plans similar. Only thing I would say is the handle looks big especially toward the back. BUt maybe you or whoever it was made for have big hands. It would be a handfull thats for sure. If I understand you correctly and you did it all with files, then I must say it is the best file work knife I have ever seen. Nicely done.

Cyssou, that is a beautiful piece of work. Y'know, with all the Micartas, Ivory, Reconstituted Stones, and exotic woods out there, we often forget how beautiful the noble Oak is. Thanks for the reminder.

Nicely done!
Hard to beat well finished quarter sawn oak. Do you know what species? If it was darker brown I'd say live oak, but it's a bit to red for that. White oak would be just the opposite in coloration. Beautiful piece no matter what.
