""Money and Power"
I guess I have been a student of history all my life, particularly the Indian wars. These people
were persecuted as much as any minority, yet they remain mostly silent and ignored. When is the last time you saw a network news anchor, reporter or talk show host that was FB Indian? Most of them become doctors, I believe..something that will benefit their tribe. I read a good book titled"Killers of the Flower Moon"..It tells about the deaths of over a hundred Osages who were Killed for their oil rights here in Oklahoma. It was also the birth of the FBI. All the local law and politicians were in cahoots with the "money men", who wanted those leases. Many were poisoned, Shot, many were just never seen again...Kinda makes you sick to think just how far some would go, to maintain their "privileged" lifestyle.... __________________ I once complained about having no shoes, until I met a man who had no...guitar |

It's good to remember what happened to the Native Americans when you hear the government telling you that they will take care of you.
Used to be a knife store here and the owner had a knife made by Geronimo. The owner's grandfather was a soldier guarding the Indians being held prisoner in Florida. He also had a knife that was made by an American POW that escaped from North Vietnam. The place suddenly went out of business and it was a year or so before I happened to run into the owner at a gun show. He had taken out a long-term lease in the strip mall when business was kinda depressed in the area. The mall owner decided to get that space back and rent it out for more money, now that the economy had improved. The knife shop owner resisted. The mall owner paid him a visit with a couple of his folks and made him sign off the lease by holding knives to the throats of his wife and son. Police wouldn't touch the case. #### still goes on like that. __________________ God bless Texas! Now let's secede!! |
