I finally figured out how to post pictures. This on is one that I made for a KITH on Knifedogs. I was trying to get the look of a Hudson Bay tradeknife. The blade is of 9260 which was marquenched at 510 degrees in peanut oil and then tempered for three, two hour cycles at 450 degrees. The knife has OAL of 10 inches and a blade of just under six. The handle is of African Blackwood, one of my favorites, the washers were punched from a sheet of brass, and the rivets are from 1/16" copper rod peaned over.

I'm pretty happy with the blade, which has a satin finish. It sliced through two water bottles and left the bottoms on the porch rail with the water still in them. I also cut through some low carbon wire without chipping or endenting. Wish that I had done a little better on the handle. One of the washers is just a tad off and the surface of the washers were kind of goobbered up by me trying to round off the rivets with a file. The next time I make a knife of this pattern I'll use cutlers rivets that contrast with the washers.
