Dagger Sheath

I showed a picture of this dagger about a month ago but just finally got the sheath finished. The wood is che chen and the wrap, throat and cross (frog) are made from damascus. What do you all think?

Thanks,

Bill www.buxtonknives.com

Very nice!

I thought about doing something like that for my first knife, but wasn't sure how it'd look (or how I'd do it with the tools I had at the time )

Wow

Wow Bill,

I am new to knife making and this forum, but that makes one heck of an impression. I ran up to your web site, hoping there were more pictures of it. I would love to see the blade photo again, I missed it the first time, and maybe a side shot of the sheath showing the banding a little closer.

Just had to compliment you,

Ike

Hi Bill,

that is probably the nicest 'hard' sheath I've ever seen! Great work, the colour of the wood and the damascus work very well together.

Thanks, Jens.

Thank you for the compliments, they are truly appreciated.

Ike, Nicholas Ramirez designed and takes care of my web site, I sent Nic several pictures of the dagger and sheath yesterday to post on the site and He's now got them posted. So you can go there now if you like and see the sheaths edge, along with the dagger. Nic does a really nice job.

Thanks Chris for posting the picture here.

Thanks,

Bill www.buxtonknives.com

Like, WOW! Terrific package - that scabbard is both beautiful and very unique. Great stuff.
