"Bad Boy" camp knife
Here's a "Camp Knife" I made in the last couple of days. For me, it's a big'un. It's 12 1/4" long. The handle is 5 1/4"..Blade is 1095, 7", and 1/8" thick...This one is my first knife that I heat treated in my new forge. The handle is Cherry from "Woodman" (Kevin)...Man, does he have some great wood. Hope y'all like it. Thanks for looking.

Frank,
I really look forward to seeing your newest knives, this one is no exception. Very simple, straight-forward designs, they seem to be begging to go to work. JLaw |

Nice one, I really like the shape of your knives, and the finish on the blades.

That's a great one Frank! I really like the blade shape - a little less "belly" than most I've seen from you and it looks like a bit of a trailing point too. I'd take that to my camp any day! Nice work!

Frankallen,
Howdy, as perfectly well ballanced of a knife design as I can imagine. I also like the great finish too! Jack the Knife Sandymay & old Dukedog too |
