problem

After fitting brass guard and butt cap with buffalo horn and tourquiose spacers the sanding turned as smooth as glass, However after a month or so I can now feel every joint. They did not seperate, just became fine ridges. What is the cause? Thanks for any and all response. Obe

T think humidity got you. The horn either grew a little or shrunk depending on the moisture in the air.I've had Elk horn do that. Got to have a good seal on the surface. What's the rest of the handle made from?
