Knife tutorial motherlode

The name Greg Brannon isn't familiar to me. He might be a regular here at TKN and I simply haven't run across any of his posts yet. Anyway, Greg, who appears to have way too much time on his hands, has put together one of the most comprehensive knife tutorial lists I've ever seen:

http://free.hostdepartment.com/g/gb6491/

Seriously, anything you need to know is here, from the old CKD tutorials to stuff from Russia, Germany, Latin America; hundreds of links to tutorials about steels, grinding, soldering, handles, sheathmaking, flint knapping, anvils, forges, tools, jigs, hints & tips, supply sources. . . .

Nice job, Greg! if you're out there, give us a holler so we can say thanks!

-Frank

That site is great, just discovered the Admiral steel heat treat page on it about heat treating high carbon spring steel, 1050, 1065, 1075 and 1095.

Oh, I just saw that Greg's site is listed in a sticky over in the Newbie's Forum.

Just the same, this one should be bookmarked by everyone, even oldtimers. You never know when you need some little bit of information you saw somewhere but just can't remember where. Likely it's here.

That is an amazing list of links and references. I think it's the most thorough I've seen. Every might want to book mark it.
