Got a handle problem...

This is the first time I have used stablized wood, eucalyptus, to be exact. As I ground it down to the right thickness, a knot started to appear and has gotten larger as I neared the finished size. It will not clean up! I can only imagine that the material used to stablize it did not penetrate throughout. There appears to be a deep mote around this little castle and I was wandering what I could use to fill it up, hoping of course that it won't pop out after I sell it. I thought about setting it up on a mill and removing the whole area and putting in a plug, but it must be a last resort. I have supplied a photo if it helps. As always, any civil response will be greatly appreciated.

Fill it with superglue. That's a pretty common remedy for voids like that, which are not terribly uncommon, even in stabilized woods.

Epoxy mixed with a little saw dust can make a near invisible patch with a little luck....

In my opinioin, depending upon the size of the void, sometimes I won't fill them at all. It adds a certain character to the knife. Now if it's any bigger than say a pea. Then I would probably fill it. I like to use epoxy with saw dust from the wood you are using.

Fill it with crushed turquoise or corral or brass or nickle silver filings, then saturate the pile of filling with super glue and then finish it off. Mother nature gave you something to work with so use it. Gib
