Just an observation born of experience, Fred- putting the edge on a knife should be the very last thing you should do before the blade leaves your shop. Be very careful finishing that one.

Sharp one.
I've got it taped up good Don. I've still got to be careful because out of habit I would not expect a knife to be sharp until complete. I picked it up by the blade yesteday (without injury luckily) and when I realized what I had done I wrapped half a roll of tape around it. Then I wrote on the tape with magic marker "Sharp".
