Smile 01 with maple

Here is a knife I made for a friend down south. It is forged 01 blade with a convex grind, I do not know if it is done by hand it is still a grind. The handle has a Damascus guard, credit card and arborite spacers and a maple handle with gun stock finish. The blade its self is about 4 inches long.
I etched the guard before installing it and it was a bit of work getting the rest of the handle to match up to it. The sides are etched as well but does not show in the photo, it is a very thin stack of layers, so a bunch of very thin lines.
Cheers Ron.

As the proud owner of this knife, I can attest to its awesomeness! The pictures really don't do it justice. I should also mention it is wicked sharp. A sheath is in the works for it!
