Grizzly Grinder mod
Hi All,
I was wondering about slowing the speed down on a grizzly knife grinder. Could I attach a pulley to the buffer end and attach a varible speed grinder to that and acheive a slower belt speed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks UB |

Put an 8 in. pulley on the buffer end and a 2 in. pullley on another motor and run that one to slow it down...Just take the belt off to run high speed............carl

So this sounds like ya'll are just using the Griz motor as a "bearing" so to speak, allowing the shaft to free wheel inside it? Is that not detrimental to the Griz motor? sounds like a good solution to a dificult problem....
