The Display Case (for those of you who like fancy)

Wow! Thanks, guys, for all the compliments.

I'm sure that each of you has felt this way: knowing that knifemakers generally work alone, we all need feedback from time to time from our peers to know if we're even on the right track or not. I don't have a "sounding board" locally, so this forum is a good place to get info from people that really look at knives. And as nice as it is to hear "atta boy", I'd also like to hear comments that would help me make a better (or better looking) knife. You can look for other stuff in the future.

Mike

Welcome Mike

Welcome Mike, I do believe you'll enjoy this forum. It has many dedicated
craftsmen and artists...like yourself.
We had a female friend (wildirishrose I believe it was) of yours in our
Paltalk room recently and sent her here to see that beautiful knife of yours
shown in this forum by Terrill. Very nice...each of them.
Is there someplace on the net where we can view more of your work? I have
been doing searches but have not had much luck so far.

Thank you, and welcome again. Maybe you can come visit us and join in
live audio discussion at the *Knife maker & Collector chat* found in Misc.
groups at Paltalk.com.

Hope to see you there also.

Steve (aka Knifemaker)

Re: Welcome Mike

Whoa Mike! Nice stuff. Real nice dirks, daggers, and sgian dubhs.

Celtic jewelry too. I like all things Celtic.

Good to have you here man. Don't be a stranger. If you get bored one day and want to do a tutorial on stuff like Celtic knots, or carving handles for dirks or sgian dubhs (hint-hint), feel free.
