My Penance

Every 20 knives or so, I have to add one to my wife's knife block. There is still a lot of holes in that thing, dang it.

New style I am going to call the Kitchen Companion. The wood on this one is stabilized black palm.

I know the feeling Bob!!!! A knife or book shelf or a new cabinet for the living room. Just the price of a happy marriage and a peaceful knife shop.:P:P

Good looking knife by the way!

Cost effective too. My family still owns a full set of Hawkinsware that has survived 20 years and Alex's millions of cheap overcooked steaks.

Great knife Dogman. I do a lot of Honey Do's around the house, remodeling and all, by my wife would just as soon saw something with a butter knife as use a good one so she never ask or complains about kitchen knives. As a matter of fact I made her a complete set of knives and even handmade her an Oak knife block for them and she gave the whole set to my youngest Son when he bought a house and moved out.
So now she has a cheapo set from Target and that will just have to do.
I quit trying to figure them out a long time ago. Things go better that way.

I wanted how it looked overall in case someone orders one to put in their camping kit. Also, I can always use more fit and finish practice, so and extra piece to fit doesn't hurt. Asthetics-wise, I think something in the back balances the look of the knife.

I usually just lurk and watch, but that's a nice blade, Couple questions please. Blade thickness? Blade steel? Rockwell?

Every #### knife I make she wants, so I make her a lot of kitchen knives and wondered about yours. I use 1/16 and 3/32 Ats-34.
Thanks,
Gordo
