My First Damascus!!!

My first piece that stayed together it is 1084 & Nickel Silver w/ some cable thrown in. It's 1 1/4" W x6" L x 3/8" thick. It was a blast surfacing it and not seeing any bad laminations!!!! Mike

Looks like a nice piece of Damascus, you've got some great random patterns in there. How big is that billet and what are you going to make with it?

Mike's image is on Geocities who won't allow it to be viewed off their site so I just clicked on properties and pasted the image URL into another browser window.

Rats, Yahoo strikes again!!! I'll try to get on another place to store them. My son had a site on geocities and thought we could store there. Roger I have cut out a drop point hunter for it. I'll post it when I get finished. Maybe it won't be too long!!! Mike

The problem is it's a GIF file which most browsers won't intepret on the fly, because it needs to use MS Paint or Kodak Imaging to view the GIF. Easiest thing to do is right click it, save it and then go to the folder where you saved it and view it.

The best and stansard for posting pictures on the internet is JPG.
