Searles Bowie


I feel like a caveman at Cape Canaveral when trying to do anythign with a computer. I'm a blacksmith, not a computer whiz! However, here's an attempt at posting a picture of a knife I just completed.


I always expect the worst with this kinda thing, and I'm not often disappointed.

Very nice looking,the Searles and it's direct ancestor,the Mediterranean knife are about my favorites.

Here are the particulars:

Blade length: 8"; Overall length 12 3/4" ; Handle: Macassar Ebony; Furniture: Sterling silver (including 102 pins.)
Sheath: leather over wood with nickel silver throat and Sterling silver star.
