It is confusing, isn't it?

Don, The knife is a folding Bowie They have been around for a while I rebuilt one for a customer about 11 years ago, It was made in Prussia in 1911. Brought back to the U.S. after WW-I. When I started working on it the wood handles were litterally falling apart due to age and dry-rot. I had to remake the button release which locked it in the closed Position, as well as the spring for it,and the rocker saddles. It was made by Robert Klass. It now has a new look and a new Home. I have made this customer many knives and rbuilt a few others for him, besides about $1200.00+ in various engraving jobs. He sent me a package about 6 months ago and inside was the Klass Folding Bowie.
He said that he thought that I would give it a good home. By the way Klass Knives is still in business in southern Germany.

Also I would like to wish you a belated Happy Birthday as well.
