Like always we plan the future, then things change. Rex sent me some new steel (same 52100 just reduced to x 2 x 2 inch stock instead of the 3 x 3 inch stock, reduced a couple of hundred degrees higher than I do. Rex's Challenge, see how far I can push it. I am giving it a shot, have some worked down to forge some blades. I will test a few blades and send some to Rex and he will do the lab work.

On this form another member mentioned he had an origonal Huber made like the Augustine Berarra knife. He lives in Los Vegas. I talked to Mr Beinfield, got a table at the January show and will bring some knives (not experimental blades), our new Video the old video and some books and visit a show I have wanted to attend for many years. Looks like I will get to visit the Huber, do a new Show and am experiencing a great deal of pleasure after 6 months of not making knives. Getting back in to it I have come up with some new methods of getting the steel to lay like I want it to. Has been fun!!

As the new DVD gets around new knive makers have called wanting to attend seminars and asking a lot of questions.

In short, new enthusiasm has invaded my thoughts.

Thanks Friends, your encouragment and support means a lot.
Take Care and by the way, Merry Christmas!
Ed
