Bead blast

I did a search on the word bead blast but people mention it but don't describe it.
what is it and how do you do it?

Ellie,
Bead blasting refers to spraying the object with small glass beads at high pressure with compressed air to produce soft, matte finish.
You need a compressor, a small bead blasting cabinet and a supply of glass beads. Inexpensive compressors and blasting cabinets can be found for a few hundred $$ each at Harbor Freight and similar discount supply stores - for a one-time application, better to find someone who has the equipment.
