"Blue Saturday"......

I finally decided to make one of the "blue" knives. After some advice from Don Cowles, I got my hands on some rubies, and just had to use them on something. I've also discoverd that "blue" knives are really difficult to photograph.....but here's the result of today's labors....

The design is a twin of one I sold in Reno, but with a bit more color and flare.

Whoa - that's stunning! The vibrant colors are an excellent complement to the bold damascus pattern. Very cool.

Pics look fine Ed. A great looking piece. I love the "racing stripe". Very celestial.

wow, like the combo of colors and those are good pics I think. If you just feel that your knife will do 10% less in cutting ability because of the blueing that I will be glad to take it with no charge.

Well, here is a knife where a blue blade is exactly the right choice.
