Most of the orders I'm getting are for larger knives--combat, camps, and Bowies. With all the tension in the world right now, and the press and politicians screaming for more gun control in the wake of the recent shootings, (like radical or insane killers are going to obey new gun laws just because the politicians pass them...duh) I think people are thinking preparedness, survival and defense. If the manure hits the fan, a big knife can do what a small knife can do, but not vice versa. And, even if things were cool in the world, all things being equal, if one person pulls out a Bowie and someone else pulls out a mini-skinner, which one do you think will get the "NOW THAT'S A KNIFE!" ?

Recently picked up an issue of the annual "Knive's 2003" and there was a good couple of pages showing hammer finished blades. There seem to be more of those type blades showing up in that book with each passing year.
