Looking for a product

A while ago I stumbled upon a tutorial somewhere about heat treating. The gentleman who was doing the heat treat had a putty or paste that he put on his blades to prevent them from discolouring during heat treating. I was wondering if anybody knows the product and/or which tutorial it was (I dont think it was on this site). Also has anybody else used it? How did it work????

Thanks in advance.

Vishnu

That was Terry Primos' heat treating tutorial (http://www.knifenetwork.com/workshop...e_primos.shtml), and the product was called Turco. I think you can get it from K&G.
