Wootz or crucible damascus
Hello.
Im smelting crucible steel (wootz, crucible damascus or bulat) for knife use. Just want to present my smelts and listen to your opinions on such material nad pattern. Few pictures "Cake" of steel, almost 3 lbs Finished blade, hope you like pattern Wootz bar, ready to be forged down to blade 1"x0.250"x18,8" In a few days i will have some phycisal data on steel - hardness, chemical composition. Feel free to ask any questions |
