head torx screws

I need some advise on how to trim tiny head torx screws with out damaging the thread. I tried to cut it with a plier cutter
then file the tip. Are there any better ways

Handyman,

Welcome to the CKDF!

I find the easiest and cleanest way is to screw it into the liner and grind off threads down to size. Then as you back it out it will clean up the threads. Snipping them will destroy the threads, as you may have found. Glad there are spares included!
