found a #25 little giant
Hi all. I was at the local retired welders place yesterday getting some 10 inch I beam and we got to talking abot trip hammers. Well he mentioned the one he had and I aked to see it and he said it was up on the hill with the iron pile. So I goes up the hill to find a cute little #25lb little giant just sitting there and still in working order and no breaks or cracks. Then he tells me that he thought if I was interested I could take it to use as long as I wanted and that we would write something up that if he dies I pay a set price. Now you can't beat a deal like that!!!! But it is still set up to run off a line shaft and I need some pictures on how you all hooked yours up to an electric motor. And my second question is what HP and what speed. I have a 220 volt 1 1/2 horse 1725 rpm that I thought would work but let me know. I will post pics of it when I recue it from the boothill grave yard.

Just build a motor mount that bolts up to holes in the back of the LG oh yeah, SCORE! __________________ NT Barkin Turtle Tribe ~~~Life is what it is~~~ |
