There has been a saying in our house for years , " keep it realistic "

We dont keep lists anymore , its up to each individual to keep mental notes for each person on what they admire or like throughout the year.
This is for me and Danna.

We dont buy for our children anymore , just the grandkids , and they are easy.

I know this sounds sappy but I would be happy with peace and happiness in our home and around the world.

Happy Holidays all:0)

Hadley, I take my wish back. Instead, I wish for your wife to be cured as well.

In the wake of all of the NFL tragedies, my first Christmas wish would be for a happy & safe holiday for everyone.

On a more selfish note, if Santa were to leave me a Colt 1911 I would be extremely happy as well.

P.S.-------"Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus."

Well, since Santa didn't respond to my request on the Ruger SR40c, I decided to take a break at lunch today and go to the local Sporting Goods store (Big Bear), and see one in person. They were on sale for $419, and could be put on lay away for 10% down and monthly payments......now I just gotta figure out how to tell Santa (Cindy) that I took matters into my own hands!

Hopefully I won't be sleeping in the shop tonight.....or for the next week!

You could always tell her "Now you won't have to go shopping for me..." Either way hope it works out.

A home winemaking kit. Planting some more grapevines this year.

Need to find something to do with all those grapes.

At a boy, Ed. What's the saying....better to ask for forgiveness than permission? And besides, should you have to sleep in the shop, I'm certain Boomer will happily keep you company and lick your ears like he does Hammer's all night long.

You should give "Santa" a little help. Tell her you narrowed it down and you decided you want the rifle for Christmas, seeing as how you don't need the pistol anymore. I agree with Chuck, you should be leaving hints around for dies and brass for that 6.5.

Hang in there Hadley. Best new year for your wife and yourself.

Take care, Craig

I broke the news to "Santa" last night when she got home from work.... I was ready to make Boomer and Hammer move over on the dog bed that's under the bench in the finish shop...but God Bless her....she looked at me and said "Boys and their toys........Honey, if you want it, go get it!"

Guess what that means.....

I do reload, got about 500 rounds for the 6.5, and several hundred 38/357. Guess now I'll have to find dies for both .40 and .45!

Very nice. Have fun with the SR40c. Like I said, I love it's younger brother. Just don't have a desire for a 40. I think Santa has been very good to you SO FAR. Have fun.
