Trout & Bird knife?
Hi
I am curious as to what a "Trout &Bird" knife looks like. I recently had someone ask me about them, and I am not familiar with them. I looked at Don's 'how to' about knives and it is not mentioned there. Is this a slang term for a more common style of knife, or just something that someone dreamed up because they didn't know what the style was? Thanks Brian |

Brian,
This is a "Bird & Trout" that was put out by AG Russell. 3" Blade 1/16" Thick - 3 3/4" Handle What others call Bird & Trout, I'm not sure. Bob Sigmon |

I know it as a fish/bird filleting knife, with a longish slender blade....
