This is a local company here, Gene. I've never been over to neb around but the newspapers do a story on these guys every so often.

Gene, they have a steam engine, single stroke engine, old thresher/farm equipment festival down here in Denton, NC every year. Lots of cool old stuff that has been lovingly restored and is still working. I'll try to find out when, and post.

They just had one (a show and demo) this weekend here in Harmony, about a 1/4 mi from where I live and I had to work. I can get some contact info if anyones interested...Bud

The steam shows are a lot of fun. Always something new to see.
I ran into a fella at a show last week that had built a one lunger out of an old , mebbe 70 yrs or so, air compressor. Milled a head, figured out the valves, soldered a gas tank, flat belt wheel the whole nine yards. And it ran good!
Always lots of great tailgate sales at those affairs too. Came home with a mess of brass and copper last week. bruce
