Thumbs up A really great bargain on 6al4v Titanium shhet

Halpern titanium

http://www.halperntitanium.com/titanium.html

is selling Ti .050" thick remnant sheets for $6.50 each, average 1 sq. ft.

That's one heck of a savings for linerlock makers. I received 3 of these sheets today and every bit of it is usable for liners.

The sheets look like they may be an aircraft manufacturer's rejected panels of some sort. New, unused material, but cut out in kind of a semi-circle.

For those of you who are getting ready to build a linerlock "My Way" this is a chance to stock up at a huge savings.

Don,

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to get some on order. By the way, the book arrived yesterday so of course I had to read and re-read it last night. Definitely a good buy! Well thought out and you get your ideas across clearly. I highly reccommend it to anyone making folders.

Thanks for the thumbs up, Tim. Let me know if it helps you.

I usually buy the pivot pins, screws, pocket clip blanks, Ti, etc. I use from Les and Marianne. First class people to deal with. That TI sale is one of the best buys I've ever gotten from anyone. I've been a customer of theirs for more years than I care to remember. They may carry My Way in their catalog.

Halpern also has .090" Ti remnants for sale. These are a bargain, too.

Don-

When I called to place my order (several pieces of the .050" Ti and some stainless screws) I mentioned that I'd heard about the sale from one of the guys in the CKDForums, Don Robinson...
She laughed out loud and said "We've been getting a lot of calls from that...but we still have some pieces left for you...I sure am going to have to thank Don for putting up that notice!!!"

Thanks for the heads up!

You're welcome, Dennis. Somebody told me the 23rd is Marianne's birthday. Wish her a good one.

Ordered some Ti, got it in today. I ordered 3 sheets, that should last me a good long time.
They laughed when I mentioned Don's name also. They told me it had been sitting there for along time and now all of a sudden they are getting alot of calls about it.
