Admiral Steel - no more 1084

Just called Admiral Steel and they state that they are out of 1084 because they no longer have a mill to supply them.

Guess I'll have to check other places.

Hard to find 1084 anymore, unless it's old stock. FYI, the Admiral 1080 is a pretty close replacement.

Perhaps Kelly Cupples (octihunter) will see this and tell us what he's got....

We have plenty of 1084 in both 1/8 x 1 and 3/16 x 1 as well as nickel, and 15N20

I just ordered 100 feet of 1084 from K&G, and got a notice that it had shipped. I told a friend about it, and he placed an order, and they called him and said they were out. I don't know the exact size he ordred, so maybe that's what it was all about. This was a couple of days ago.

We ran out of the 1/8 inch for about three days. A new shipment came in yesterday so both sizes are back in stock.

Nickel??

Hey Ken!

What do you have in stock for nickel? And, is it Nickel 200 or Nickel 201? I personally prefer to use .060+, but am interested in thinner material too.
