Two knives that I have finished
These blades were bought by a friend who gave them to me so that I could practice with scales and finish work....the first one is scaled with lignumvitae....
The next is bocote from Costa Rica Both sets of wood were flown back by another buddy who has property in the Bahamas and Costa Rica. He hand cut the wood, dried it and brought it back. I learned a lot, doing these knives..... |

Looks great, Is this your first try at scales??? If so, I am amazed... I am starting my first scales this week...
