Navajas

I received a PM from navajas about laminating different steels, such as the 52100/410 laminate I got from Daryl Meier, and was wondering if laminating 303 and 1084 would work. I couldn't figure out how to respond in the PM, so I will here.

I don't know much about the laminating process, but I know Daryl Meier used to use 304 in his laminated stuff, but switched to 410 due to problems during heat treating with the different expansion or cooling of the steels causing delamination.

I think Ed Caffrey or someone else can better explain this, so I will pose the question to them!
