Changing out scales
Okay, last question for this morning. You can always count on the new guy to keep everybody busy, huh?
These knife kits are a good bit more expensive then my pen kits. If I wanted to try a few different scales, with some of the materials I already have, are they replaceable? In other words, can I try a bunch of different scale ideas on one kit? This would also let me practice getting a good fit without destroying the CF ones on my first try. Thanks, Mike |

Mike,
You can make different scales for the same knife all day long. You'll get lots of practice drilling the holes for the screws and fitting to the bolsters. Good Luck and keep us posted on your progress. Bob Sigmon |
