1084 for sale...

Hey guys,
Me and my buddy Aldo came across a whole bunch of 1084...it is all 1/4" x 1" x 6'
we are selling it in bundles 5 sticks (25lbs) for $80.00 10 sticks (50lbs) for $150.00 and 20 sticks (100lbs) for $290.00 ....shipping not included. If you would like more than that I will work up a good price for you. We had the steel tested and it came back .86 carbon
.67 manganese. This may be the last of the last of 1084....get some while we got it.
You can email me at macevitale@yahoo.com with your order. Please include how much you would like and a FULL shipping address so I can get you shipping costs.
Please be patient... there is only two of us working on this.
Any questions...just ask.
Thanks
Mace

Mace, I've tried to email you but it bounces. Anyway, my MO will be sent out either tomorrow or Wed. Please send the spec sheet with it. Thanks.

Mace, Could those 1084 sticks be used for stock removal type knives. I guess I mean are they flat and uniform in thickness enough to profile out a blade, or do you recomend them strictly for forging.
Thanks, Ron

Rhrocker,
Were you using my yahoo email?... My earthlink email would be good for target practice. .................................................. .....

Try me at macevitale@yahoo.com

Ron,
This is not precision ground steel....It's hot rolled, but I don't see why you couldnt grind a blade from it.

We got lots of steel left guys..........Just email me for a shipping quote.
Mace

Guys,

You need a Gold Power User upgrade to sell in the sub-forums.

And if you really want to move steel, a Platinum Power User upgrade will give you unlimited use of the KNet Classifieds where you will get a lot more views.

Take a look here. http://knifenetwork.com/pages/tmp/membership.shtml

Thanks for the heads up Sam. I did the same thing on the other forum. It just never even crossed my mind. Sorry about that.

I will take care of it as soon as I can.

I did use your link and was checking out the options Gold - Platinum....I then checked the order info and it took me to online classes. I couldnt figure out how to do the upgrade.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Mace

Hey Mace,

No need to apologize. You just didn't know, and it isn't made very clear.

I'm sorry I jumped the gun on that page. It isn't ready, yet.

Call 1-888-250-5650 to upgrade when you're ready.

KNet Classifieds are where it's at for selling knives and supplies. We have members selling 3-5 custom made knives a week there, and some of them have never once posted to the forums.

Everyone is fine, men! Leave what you have posted here for now.

What I'd really like to see is all "for-sale" posts being placed in the "for-sale" forums or on the classifieds in the immediate future. The posts from guys that are coming in here to ask questions are getting buried by for-sale ads. I've done it before myself, so I'm just as guilty as the next guy.

That having been said ... let's do it right from here on!

Alex

Question Ummmm............

Ok, could you clarify a point? (Alex?)

do I need the paid membership to sell in the "Custom Knives Offered ::: BY MAKER" and " General ::: Items and Bargains" boards? The way I understood it was that it was for paid members only....

Thanks,

Gary

As it stands, we only require that you're a registered member of the forums to post there.
