Sgian dhu
This is my latest,
a sgian dhu with grenadille handle, stainless (416L) bolster and A2 (wnr 1.2363) blade I bought the thistle in Scotland from a knifemaker in 1987 and it probably is "german silver" or something similar. size; handle 9cm (3.7") blade 10cm(4") Jan |

Nice one Jan! I like the slightly modern twist to an old design using the square section of the handle but still including some carving. That thistle is a nice twist too.
Any chance of a look at the other side of the blade? Roger |
