Heat treating with tool steel
Hey all. Brand new here and need some quick help.
I'm making a kitchen knife out of an old piece of a mill bandsaw blade (very large). I don't have a ton of info on it (actually that's all of it) but was wondering if since it is a usable tool blade if heating would even be necessary. It is workable although is very hard. I just want to know what you would recommend for it to be a "finished product." thanks a lot. joey |
