Post for a friend/ newbie knife maker

Hi, my name is Brandon Solis, thanks to Lee for helping me post pics of my knives. The first one is a spearpoint utility it is hollow ground 154CM
9 1/2" OAL
Black paper micarta slabs with mosaic pins

Thanks for looking, feedback appreciated.


One for the wife's purse.

5" OAL 154CM
maroon micarta handle, one mosaic pin.



Next one I made for a buddy of mine, I have been calling it the Solis scalpel.
8" OAL 154CM
Black G-10 handle.

Thanks everyone for the replies! The CKD is a treasure chest of information for new knifemakers like myself.Thanks again Lee for helping me with my post,but mostly for the inspiration and guidance throughout the past year,if it wasn't for that I would probably be in my garage starring at a piece of steel wondering where to begin.

Very nicely done, Brandon. The last one's not really my style, but it looks to be well made (as do they all). All three look like they're very comfortable in the hand.
