Something very unusual....

Guys,

I know very little about Randall's and what goes on in the shop. But I was sent these to photograph for a dealer. Quite a departure from the norm as I can see.

Knives courtesy of Lynn Olson - MyKnifeDealer.com

I believe all the engraving AND the scrimshaw accomplished by Ron Skaggs.

You would know what model blade they originated from.

Just some eye candy to enjoy!

Coop

Hi Coop!

Great photos of some spectacular artwork!

I believe the knives (at least the blades anyway, since the handle material was obviously customer supplied) are all the RMK "Dealer Special" of Nordic Knives.

The knife is called the "Nordic Knives Special Bowie".
You can see it here:

Thanks for showing us these three beauties.

Cheers!

David

How cool to see these! Nancy emails with Ron Skagg's wife Cathie a couple times a week and has forwarded this thread link to her. I would suspect they'll get a kick out of seeing them online.....

Ron does such really cool embellishment work in a variety of styles and techniques......

Are you trying to say they brought tears to your eyes?

You're killin' me, Rocker. I have to stop setting you up or I won't get any work done today. Work = ability to buy knives! Must work!
