One just little different

Hi Guys and Gals
Here one I just finished yesterday. I'ts diferant from my normal work
but I have been wanting to do this for a wile, and when I got this cool
knife in the mail I knew just how I was going to engrave it. I think
it worked out well and it works well with the knife. What do you think?
Thanks for looking.
Darren

The knife looks great, I really like the sunflowers and it does go well with the knife, good choice. The mosaic pins seem to go well with the sunflowers also.
Nice job

Very nice Darren.
Was this one done with push gravers as was the bowie you showed us recently?
Someone who is used to using push gravers would love the PalmControl tools Steve Lindsay makes. I have one on order and I'm chomping at the bit to get it...but that's another thread. Keep the photos of the beautiful work coming. I for one love to see them.

Friend Darren
Beautiful knife and beautiful engraving; I believe that it enriches a lot to vary the reasons of the engravings and I like his reason.
Thank you to show it.

Great job Darren. I thought we would see something like this after seeing the practice plate with the flower. This pattern would look really good also with gold and copper inlays. Thanks for showing it.

Joe

Thanks guys.

Andy the shading I did with push gravers. When I am working with silver, gold ect..
I almost always use push gravers, but when working with the 416ss and other harder metals
I will mix it up and use the power graver more. I learned with push gravers and I feel
comfortable with them.

Joe I was thinking the same thing. I think theres another practice plate coming soon.
The problem is that it would have to be the right knife. I don't think you could get away with this pattern on just any knife.
Thanks again
Darren

Darren,

This enhances the knife greatly. Wonderful work.

Please show the Stag Hunter, too.

Holy Crap!!! That's beautiful! The owner of the knife told me to check this thread out. He was pretty darn happy with your engraving. Definitely an extremely beautiful job you did there Darren.
