What type of very thin wire can I get for inlays and what grade of copper is softest. I would like .010-.012 thickness. Thanks in advance for help.

Hey Tim:
I use copper from light cords as well as speaker wire, you can find it in allot of different diameters, works great. you shouldn't have a problem finding some in the .010-.012 range. and it's free if you have old electric stuff laying around somewhere. __________________ DarrenP.Reeves Custom Hand Engraving Billings, Montana 1-406-245-3444 Knife in Avatar Dream as if you'll live forever. Tim
Most copper that?s spooled is only 20 or 24 gauge which would be .020 to .032. Your looking for 28 to 30 gauge I don't think it?s available in copper. How much do you need? I may be able to draw some out for you 2 or 3 ft. give me an email. Mike Cirelli |
