Prayers for Julie
Engraver colleague Julie Warenski's husband Buster passed away Sunday July 31 from a heart attack.

Sad news. I didn't know either, except by reputation and their work, which was amazing, by the way.

When I first started making knives back in 1977 Buster was my idol. There were very few Art knife makers back then and I looked at his work in awe. When I joined the Guild in 78 I met Buster and had so many questions and respect I was almost afraid to approach him. Sure glad I got over that because from that first day he treated me like an old friend and helped me in so many ways I could never repay him. He was one of the kindest finest men I ever knew and am simply devastated by this terrible news.
We have lost a truly great man and a dear friend. |
