FYI......I found this web site and it looks impressive.

They do weekly rentals ($10/week) of numerous technical topics. There are around 10 differant videos related to engraving as well as various techniques for knifemaking, sheathmaking,fileworking, sculpting steel. Our own Ed Caffrey was in there. Chris DeCamillus's bulino video is there as well. I rented 4 differant videos from the site so I will let you guys know how it works out. I believe all the videos are on DVD or DVD+R. I did a search of the newsgroups and found very favorable comments about them.

I thought everyone knew about these guys. I've been renting from Travis for a while now- infact ::blows my own horn:: It was me that requested more engraving cd's, specifically the FEGA ones.

I got to rent the Bulino one first! ::cheezy grin::

The rent is reasonable, it includes postage to you, the box it comes in and return postage. All for 10.00 a week. And then you can decide if you want to buy the tape/cd/dvd or not.

Infact I've got 5 more currently enroute to me.

If it was posted here before I guess I missed it. I tuned in kind of late. I just stumbled upon it while doing a search for something else. I bought the Bulino Tape from FEGA. Took almost 2 months to get and I paid $30 I think. I could have just rented it for $10 and it would have been on DVD which is much easier to navigate.

Travis the owner of Tech Video said he had to wait for nearly 2 months I guess for FEGA to upgrade to DVD/CD type of format.

I like the fact I can rent it first see if its got what I want on it before committing. There were several - not engraving instructions but others I rented and decided- na.... its not worth it. The money I've spent on rentals is easily offset by what I've saved by making a informed decision.

And dont feel badly Andy I'm a late comer here too, but your WAY ahead of me in terms of talent.

I ordered 4 differant videos. Turns out only one is available at the moment...of course I paid for all four. I will have to wait for the other three. There is a whole lot of education om his site I will probably rent more if it works out.
