Camo and Paracord

Being doing a lot of these lately (cord wraps) for some reason. I seeme to be in a hamon phase and can't stop experimenting.

This one is the usual W-2 with and has a 3 3/4 blade and is 9 1/4 overall. The wrapping is stripped OD 550 cord over black latigo leather.

Thanks for looking.

Michael, excellent work! That handle wrap goes well with that camo kydex! Two questions for you.. 1) where are you getting your W2, and 2) where did you learn the handle wrap technique? ...ok, actually three questions...3) where are you getting your cord for the handle? I know, questions, questions, questions...

Thank you Darren. My wraps are basically simplified versions of stuff found off of this page: http://pages.prodigy.net/tlbuck/tsuka/tsuka.htm

I use paracord with the insides taken out to flatten it out, but it still doesn't lend well to some of the more delicate wrapping shown on that page. I simply "twist" each piece and flatten it down. I get my cord from a local Army Surplus where they have all sorts of colors of 550 cord.

One of these days, I'm going to buy some real stuff from here:
http://www.japanese-swords.com/ so I can do more traditional wraps (I hope).
